Anyone watch any of these shows? What do you think of them?

I just watched the fox body build where they take 2.3 fox and put in an aluminator crate engine and everything maximum performance makes.

I hate it! They spend like 30k on brand new parts and sort of show you how to build a car. The problem is they have unlimited money and have all these brand new parts and just slap a car together and make it look way way too easy. I dont really understand the point of the show. It seems to be for entertainment purposes only because who has a dyno and a lift and welders and engine building tools and all that stuff? Who can afford to spend the dough on all those parts and just start putting a car together? It's not like the show spends enough time showing the tech portions installing parts and customizing etc or covering the problems one might run into when installing a part or even the decisions of where it should go or what it should be.

My opinion powernation is like junkfood TV little actual value cheap and fast but sometimes you still just crave a crappy hamburger.

well it would probably suck if she wasnt into cars. It would be like me hosting a show about rich successful people since I know nothing about that as I am a loser it would just make me depressed.

Too many reruns. I watch the show regularly because I'm a gearhead, but I'm getting less and less motivated to get up on the weekend and tune in. It seems like all they do now is rearrange the different episodes of 4x4, engine power, truck, and musclecar and all it a new "power block". Its like they make about 7 new episodes of each and they mix them all up and reshow each one. That gives you 49 combinations. There's on 52 weeks in a year. They skip at least 3 weekends of the year.
